Route 62 - Wineries in South Africa..

These pictures are taken on the Cape Route 62 last week with my lovely parents, who came to visit me here in ZA.
This route is located in the Western and Eastern Cape and is presumably the longest wine route in the world.

Just after approximately one hour drive from Cape Town, you are on the Route 62, which offers the most beautiful scenic views, mountains and vineyards..

It is located on Devil´s Peak and is a memorial of the English-born South African politician Cecil John Rhodes.

A little cozy town, placed a few kilometres from Cape Town..Beautiful views.....

Cape Town´s Table Mountain!

The most beautiful attraction in Cape Town is of course its mountain, Table Mountain..

With its many hiking opportunities, it makes a traveller like me very happy ;)

These pictures are taken from a 4 hour hike from Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden through Skeleton Gorge last week. This is my third time on the mountain, and luckily I have a lot more to go..;)

Furthermore, it is estimated that over 2,200 different species can be found on the mountain, which is apparently more than what exists in the whole of United Kingdom. (wiki)
